Logs Viewer

This is an easy way to view and manage your logs.

You can access the Logs Viewer dialog from the Menubar popup, under the extras menu or using the command /logs.

Channels: Shows the channel log files.

Private: Shows the private log files (that is both queries and DCC chats).

Note that, when clicking the Exit button, irc-U saves the selected mode and will start with it, the next time you will open the Logs Viewer.

If logs are more than: If log files are many, their listing will make irc-U stuck for a while. With this option enabled, the logs listing will be performed with the delay that you will set.

The parameters of this option are the number of files that will determine the delayed listing, and the delay in seconds.

e.g. if you set the number of files to 50 and the delay to 5, irc-U will list 50 files every 5 seconds.

View Log: Displays the selected log into the edit box.

Open File: Opens the selected log file with notepad.

Delete: Deletes the selected log file(s).

Merge Files: Copies all selected log files into one and lets you set the filename of the new log.

Exit: Closes the Log Viewer.

Note: Only files with the log extention will be shown.
