Here, you can make your own slaps, which will appear in the Nicklist and Query popups.
You can access the Custom Slaps Menu dialog from the Menubar popup, extras-->custom popups and then click on the Slaps tab, or using the command /custom and then click the Slaps tab.
How it works...
In the Custom Slaps dialog, there are 3 lists:
1) The slap's name, which will appear in the menu.
2) The slap's text, that will appear before the nickname.
3) The slap's text, that will appear after the nickname.
For the slap's name, I think that explaining is not needed :)
The slap's text, that will appear before the nickname, can be just the word slaps or you can add anything else that you think suitable.
The slap's text, that will appear after the nickname, can also be anything that you think suitable.
Tip: You may use identifiers which will be evaluated, such as $input() and $+ identifiers, which are most convenient.
Some examples will make things clearer...
Example 1
Slap's name Slap's text before the nickname Slap's text after the nickname
test1 slaps till death!
If your nickname is George and the nickname you selected is John, the result will be this:
* George slaps John till death!
Example 2
Slap's name Slap's text before the nickname Slap's text after the nickname
test2 throws at $+ 's head his keyboard
If your nickname is George and the nickname you selected is John, the result will be this:
* George throws at John's head his keyboard
Example 3
Slap's name Slap's text before the nickname Slap's text after the nickname
test3 and ALL his friends hit $+ 's butt with their $$input(With what?,eq)
If your nickname is George and the nickname you selected is John, the result will be this:
* George and all his friends hit John's butt with their <what you entered in the prompt>
Note: You may select more than one nickname, which will be bold.
Add/Edit Area: The first editbox is for the slap's name, the second for the slap's text before the nickname and the last one, for the slap's text after the nickname.
When you type something in the first editbox, the other editboxes are enabled.
When you finish, click the Add Slap button to add the slap in the lists above.
Edit Name: Click to edit the slap's name, and then click the Apply Changes button below to save changes.
Edit Slap: Click to edit the slap's text, which will be displayed in the 2 editboxes below, and then click the Apply Changes button below to save changes.
Remove: When you click this, the selected slap is removed from the list. Changes are not saved until you click the Save Changes button.
So, in case you change your mind, just click the Exit button and re-open the dialog.
Move Up/Move Down: With these buttons you can change the sequence, in which the slaps will appear in the menu.
Add Slap: This button will add the slap to the dialog's list. For settings to be saved you have to click the Save Changes button.
Save Changes: Saves the settings.
Cancel: Closes the dialog without saving some settings.
Exit: Closes the dialog and saves some settings.
Help: Opens irc-U's Help (this file).
