Channel Protection helps channel operators to protect their channels from several attacks, with 13 auto-kicks.
How it works...
First of all you have to add channels in the list. Use Add and Rem buttons to add and remove channels from the list, respectively.
Tip: The # sign is added automatically, even if you won't type it.
After that...
1) select a channel in the list,
2) choose the auto-kick you want, and
3) set the attributes.
Note that you have to press the Apply button, for each auto-kick, separetely.
On the down-right corner of the Channel Protection dialog, there is a button that opens the dialog with the default kick and kickban messages, ban times and warnings, for all the auto-kicks (Default Settings button).
These will be used when you want to warn/kick/kickban, in a channel that is not added in the protected channels.
There are some preset settings, which you are free to change and set your own.
There is another button, with which you can copy settings from one channel to another, since it's gonna take you a while to setup all parameters for every channel you add in your protected ones.
The Channels with same settings? button initiates a command which will ask you the following:
- a confirmation
- the source channel
- the destination channel
- copy all channel settings or for just one auto-kick.
Click Yes for all or No for one auto-kick.
If you click No only the settings for the displayed Auto-Kick, will be copied.
Otherwise, all parameters for all Auto-Kicks will be copied.
Tip: There is a file with preset settings for channel #test. You can load that (by adding channel #test to the list) and copy any settings you like, using the Channels with same settings? button.
